Vocal Training with Melissa

Teaching is one of my greatest joys! I am passionate about helping singers discover, develop, and celebrate their unique voices. I work with students ages 7 and up, from beginners discovering their love of singing to experienced performers preparing for auditions, performances, and continued musical growth.

I believe that every voice is unique, and my goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where each student can build confidence, strengthen their technique, and find their authentic artistic expression. My lessons are tailored to each individual student’s goals, interests, and learning style, with a focus on healthy vocal technique, musicality, expression, diction, and performance skills.

With a background in classical vocal performance and experience across opera, musical theater, and contemporary styles, I love helping students explore a wide variety of repertoire. 

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and am a Professional Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). I am committed to continued growth as an educator and regularly pursue opportunities to expand my knowledge of vocal pedagogy and teaching practices.
